Death toll in factory blast rises to seven

BEIJING: The death toll from a chemical plant explosion in east China's Jiangsu Province has risen to seven.
Nine people were injured in the explosion in Rugao City on Wednesday.
The explosion at Shuangma Chemical Plant killed two people at the scene.
Another three died in hospital, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The nine people injured remained in hospital for treatment, Xinhua quoted local authorities as saying.
Established in 1997, Shuangma Chemical Plant mainly produces stearic acid, fatty acid and glycerol.
The investigation into the explosion is still ongoing. --BERNAMA
