Indoor Air Quality Assessor (IAQ Assessor) Training Centre

  • In 2010, DOSH introduced Industry Code of Practice on Air Indoor 2010 to ensure employees and occupants are protected from poor indoor air quality that could adversely affect their health and well-being, and thereby reduce their productivity. Therefore, employers need to conduct Indoor Air Quality Assessment where the duties of employers and self-employed persons to their employees are stipulated under Section 15 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA), while Section 17 od OSHA stipulated that it is also the general duties of employers and self-employed persons to persons other than their employees.

This Indoor Air Quality Assessment is a technical aspect that requires specific training by training centres with highly knowledgeable trainers, quality training modules and in accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force.

Therefore, to ensure that the training standards provided by the teaching center can be controlled and meet the set objectives, recognition will be given to the teaching center that meets the criteria set out in this guidance.
