Collapsed wall kills 3, injures 1

JOHOR BARU: Three foreign labourers died on the spot while another suffered head injuries when a wall from a neighbouring factory collapsed on them while they were laying the culvert in a cable manufacturing factory in Jalan Angkasa Mas, Tebrau Industrial Estate at about 8.30am today.

The dead were two Indonesians and a Bangladeshi in their 20s and 40s.

The injured, an Indonesian believed to be in his 40s, was rushed to the Sultan Ismail Hospital.

The cable manufacturing factory is current undergoing renovation.

Johor Baru selatan district police chief ACP Sulaiman Salleh confirmed the incident.
