Employers urged to put safety a priority in workplace - Borneo Post Online

KUCHING:Safety is paramount no matter the size of the company, said Utilities Minister Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom.Speaking at the Global Industrial Brand Seminar on Best Practices in Industrial
Safety and Productivity today, Dr Rundi said that no matter how small a company is, employers have to put an emphasis on safety so that their workers are safe.

“It will also be more productive and sustainable for your business,” he said.Around 60 participants from relevant industries attended IDEMCO Sdn Bhd’s inaugural seminar, which brought together product experts to talk about best practices in efficiency and safety through today’s product technological advancements.Products from some of these world renowned industrial brands are showcased to give guests an idea on the scope of supply that indemnity Sarawak is able to provide its clients in East Malaysia.
