Summary of Accident:
A worker was killed when he was struck by the remnants of a brick wall that was being demolished. During the incident, the victim was collecting fragments of the wall for disposal. While doing so, the remains of the brick wall collapsed on him, causing serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital but died several hours later after receiving treatment.
Contributing Factors :
The remnants of a brick wall that was being demolished collapsed and struck the victim.
Results of Observation :
No safe work procedures were provided by the responsible party to demolish the wall.
